This notice explains what personal information Central Gas WM Ltd collects when you contact us or use our website, why we need it, and how we look after it. We keep it simple and we never sell your information.
Central Gas WM Ltd is a heating and plumbing company registered in England and Wales, company number 07880630, at 203 Lichfield Road, Wolverhampton WV11 3EP. We are responsible for your personal information. You can contact us at info@centralgaswm.co.uk or on 07815 539305.
When you send an enquiry through our quote form, our website assistant, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, email or by phone, we collect the details you give us. This is usually your name, phone number, email address, postcode and a description of the job. If we arrange a visit, we use your address to attend the job.
We use your information only to reply to your enquiry, arrange a visit and carry out the work you ask for. We do this because you have asked us to (taking steps before a contract and carrying out a contract), because the law requires it, or because it is in our legitimate interests to run our business and look after our customers. We do not use your details for marketing.
We only share your information where we need to. This includes trusted partners who carry out work on our behalf, such as our bathroom installation partner for bathroom enquiries and our MCS-certified partner for heat pump grant applications. It also includes the service providers that run our website and email: Cloudflare (website hosting, email forwarding and our website assistant), Web3Forms (delivering website enquiries to our inbox) and Microsoft (our email). Some of these providers may process information outside the UK, with legal safeguards in place.
The assistant on our homepage is an AI. Messages you type are processed by Cloudflare to produce a reply and are not used to make any decisions about you. Please do not type sensitive personal information into the chat. If you ask for a quote, the details you give are sent to our team so we can contact you.
We keep personal information for as short a time as possible. Website enquiries are deleted as soon as we have contacted you, or straight away if we are unable to make contact. Once we have been in touch, we delete your contact details and keep only your address until our first visit to the job. We do not keep customer databases or mailing lists. The only exceptions are records the law requires us to keep, such as invoices for tax purposes and gas safety notifications.
Our website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser may store small technical settings needed for the website to work.
You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to ask us to correct it, to ask us to delete it, or to object to how we use it. To do any of these, contact us at info@centralgaswm.co.uk.
